Robert Lynn Cox, 73, of Ingomar, died Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 at his home surrounded by his children and grandchildren after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born August 30th, 1948 in Amory, MS to Lester and Sadie Paramore Cox. He grew up in Monroe County and graduated from Smithville High School in 1966. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in New Albany. He was an avid Ole Miss Rebels fan and enjoyed watching any sport that they played.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ivy Cox; his son, Scott Griffin; his brothers Lloyd, Bert, Gerald, Doug, and Wayne Cox; and his sisters Leola Reedy, Laverne Garner, and Virginia O'Quinn.
