Nola "Ginger" Wallace, 75, of Newton died Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at her residence.

Born November 18, 1928 in Bradley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Boone and Elva Pearl Stanton Jones.

She was a member of Kingsway Baptist Church in Newton. She was previously employed by Waffle House in Hickory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Calvin D. Stotts, a son, Donnie Lee Stotts, sister Norma Ilene Smith, and a brother Dewey Jones.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Donna Bass & husband Michael of Hickory, sons & daughters- in-law, Roger Stotts & wife Brenda of Portland, OR, Rick Stotts & Wife Jennifer of Claremont and David Stotts & wife Michelle of Hickory; special children, Brianna and Kayla; special nephew, Paul W. Chatham; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2004 at Drum Funeral Home Chapel in Conover. Rev. Andy Stephens will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Mitchell Stotts, Ryan Stotts, Michael Stotts, Kevin Bass, Kirk Bass, and Kyle Bass.

The Wallace family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremations in Conover, NC.
