Dustin Lee Stanley, age 27, of Shallotte, North Carolina passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022.
Dustin was born August 8, 1994 in Brunswick County and is the son of Frankie and Cindy Stanley. Dustin was an avid outdoorsman and loved deer hunting. He was a member of the Phelps Hunting Club and also the Starboard Knoll Hunting Club. He owned and operated Up and Down Professional Trapping.
He is survived by his parents, Frankie and Cindy Stanley of the home; a sister, Meredith Lynn Stanley and fiance' Joe Lewis of Shallotte; niece, Khloe Suggs; Aunts, Bonnie Verzella and husband Andy of Shallotte, Annette Hewett and husband Randy of Supply; two uncles, Ken Lohr and wife Carol of Harkers Island and Keith Lohr and wife Jackie of Swepsonville; two cousins, A.J. Hewett and Haley Lohr; two very special friends, Dakota Smith and Cody Babson.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 24, 2022 at two o'clock in the afternoon at United Vision Pentecostal Church, A I Clemmons Road, Shallotte with Reverend Jason Benton officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanley-Gause Cemetery, Ash.
Pallbearers will be, Austin Alexander, Tanner Babson, Christopher "Beef" Benton, Jesse Prince, Josh "Worm" Cox and Brett Babson.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Dakota Smith, Cody Babson, Jeremiah Frazier, Jimmie Causey, Cory McLamb, Zack Brewer and Chris Clendenin.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from six o'clock until eight o'clock at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Dr. Shallotte.
The family has requested that everyone please wear camouflage in memory of Dustin and his love of the outdoors.
