Russell H. "Hal" Williamson, age 72, of Martin, passed from this life on June 21, 2022, at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 12 Noon at the Sidonia Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Morris and Bro. Tommy Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the East Side Cemetery in Martin.
Pallbearers are Keith Gabel, Johnny Scott, Steve Tibbs, Jerry McMinn, Gayle Kimbell, Blake Dawson, Tyler Williamson and Will Hood.
Visitation with the family will take place on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, also at the church.
Hal was born in Milan, TN, on August 22, 1949, to the late Earlie and Mary Carlton Williamson.
He worked as the Transportation Manager for Institutional Distributors for 23 years. He also owned and operated PaHa Stables in Martin for many years. Hal was a member of the Sidonia Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Williamson and Bobby Williamson; and his sister, Marolyn Grissom
Survivors include his wife of nearly 30 years, Pam Pounds Williamson of Martin; his brothers, Joe Williamson (June) of Dukedom and Andy Williamson (Danna) of South Fulton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
