Kimberly A Smith, was born on October 25, 1958 to Juli and (the late) Robert Sandman in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kim passed away on Saturday June 18, 2022, aged 63, surrounded by her loving family.
Kim was married to her high school sweetheart, Dennis Smith for 43 years. He survives to cherish her memory. She was also the devoted mother of the late Melissa Smith.
Kim is survived by her sister Lynn (Randy) Huber, her Aunt, Marilyn Schwieters, sister-in-law, Diana (the late Michael) Harris and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Donald and Anne Smith. She was a caring Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Kim worked as a dental assistant for 35 years, a job she truly enjoyed. She loved spending time with her family and friends; from swim parties and holidays to the annual chili night that she and Dennis hosted. Kim always looked on the bright side of life and was an inspiration to countless people.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes, 4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery. A celebration of life reception will follow in the funeral homes event center until 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to the National Kidney Foundation. www.springgrove.org
