Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on March 18, 1947, she was the daughter of Arthur and Helene (nee Thompson) Breckenfeld. Her early life was spent in Dousman and she graduated from Waukesha South High School. On July 15, 1967 at Oconomowoc Baptist Church, she was united in marriage to Gary Ammon. Following marriage, they resided in Dousman before moving to East Troy.
Susan was a homemaker and worked as a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, raising horses and her English bull dogs. She also loved keeping up with friends and family on social media.
Susan is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Greg (Iram Trevino) Ammon and Brian (Beth Morris) Ammon; four grandchildren, Allen, Madison, Zak and Ariel; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale (Jan) Breckenfeld. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Gary and Garrett.
A private family service was be held.
