Kimberly Ann Smith, age 58, of New Castle, DE, passed away on June 17, 2022, to be with her grandparents, John and Viola Gland; her beloved aunt, Beverly Brong; and her best friend, Michael Barker.

Kim was born in Wilmington, DE on July 27, 1963. She grew up at the Delaware beaches. She loved to swim and pick crabs. Kim loved drinking coffee with her mom. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She loved her family fiercely. Her greatest joy was her children and being a Nonna to her grandchildren.

Kim is survived by her cherished children, Douglas Smith (Jennifer) and Stacey Smith (Chuck); husband, Steven Smith; mother, Eleanor Taylor; father, Carl (Roy) Taylor; brother, Roy Taylor; sister, Viola Taylor; grandchildren: Dominic, James, Ryland, Charles (CJ), Christian, Kayla, and James (JJ); stepson Chris Smith (Melaree); and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was so loved, and she will be remembered by many people. Her spirit will live on in her memory.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 10:30 AM- 12 Noon at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Kimberly's life at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA).
