Barbara Ann Bailey Armstrong of Boonville passed away on June 19, 2022.
Barbara was born on April 4, 1940, in North Wilkesboro, NC, one of ten children of the late Robert and Addie Bailey.
Barbara graduated in 1957 from Lincoln Heights High School, located in North Wilkesboro, NC, where he was a stellar student and standout athlete.
In 1960, she married the late William F. Armstrong Sr, and moved to the Boonville community of Yadkin County.
She is survived by her children, Alisa (Fred) Jones of Fayetteville GA, LTC(R) William (Tiger) Armstrong and Jacob (Drew) Armstrong of Boonville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Bailey, Addie May Cockerham, William Bailey, Tena Potts and Sandy Bailey.
Proceeding her in death were her siblings, Douglas Bailey, Dean Bailey, Buster Bailey and Cathy Bailey.
We will honor Barbara's life on Saturday June 25th at 12:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville, NC.
Burial will immediately follow at Clark's Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Boonville.
