Rex Reeves, husband of Shelby Hayes Reeves, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.
Rex was born October 5, 1933 in Wilkes County to John Ambrose and Cynthia Royal Reeves.
Rex served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Vaughn, Jack, Bernard, Bill, Claude, Hoyle, Junior and LeeRoy Reeves.
Rex is survived by his wife, Shelby Hayes Reeves of the home; a brother, Clate Reeves and wife Sue of Hays.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, June 24, 2022 at Arbor Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
