Bertha Lillian Warren, 89, of Chris Road, Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Ardmore, Tennessee, died Friday, June 25, 2004, in Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral Services were held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were grandsons.
Mrs. Warren was born on December 16, 1914, in Prospect, Tennessee, to James Henry Hill and Eula Bell Watkins Hill. She was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Warren and a daughter, Faye Warren.
Survivors include two sons, William Edward Warren of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Thomas "Tommy" Clay Warren of Ardmore, Tennessee; two daughters, Jeri Dillard of Sumerville, Alabama, and Linda Wray of Athens, Alabama; two sisters, Zona Elder of Athens, Alabama, and Margaret Fogg of Columbia, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
