NEW OXFORD Rodney J. Little, 85, entered into God's eternal care, Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Madeline M. (Small) Little, who died June 29, 2003. Born June 6, 1922, in Adams County, he was the son of the late George and Annie (Adams) Little. Rodney was retired from Penn Dot, and was previously employed at Autocraft Box Co. in Hanover. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover and the McSherrystown Moose. He was a life member of both the McSherrystown Fish & Game Association and SAVES. Rodney enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are five children, Ronald E. Little Sr. and wife, Sarah of Littlestown, Alan J. Little and wife, Vicki, Michael L. Little and wife, Marianne, and Patrick A. Little, all of Hanover, Tassia A. Markle and husband, Mike of Thomasville; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Edward T. Little of Gettysburg, Lester J. Little and R. Nicholas Little, both of Hanover; and one sister, Mary Louise Cornbower of Hanover. Rodney was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Little; three brothers, Leroy, Leon and Carroll Little; and by a sister, Regina Kitzmiller. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edgegrove. Serving as pallbearers will be Corey Little, Scott little, Nathaniel Little, Ronald Little Jr., Larry Little, James Brayman, and Erik Farley.
