MANUEL ALVARADO OBITUARY

* Manuel V. Alvarado 87, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Solara in Brownsville, Tx. with his loving family by his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josefina V. Alvarado and his brother, Eugenio V. Alvarado (Bea). Manuel is survived by the love of his life, Maria Luisa Chavez Alvarado, his son, Alberto Alvarado, his daughter, Ana Alicia Alvarado and granddaughter, Ava Sky Gallardo, sister, Delia Hernandez (Salvador), Nephews, Salvador Hernandez (Delma), Gilberto Hernandez, Ilsa Garcia (Eric) and Dalia A. Dominguez (Frank). Mr. Alvarado was a Marine and fought in the Korean War, he also was a member of the American Legion. He worked at Cameron County Gateway Bridge. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by Military honors provided by the American Legion Post 43 at Buena Vista Burial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista and according to his whishes, he will be cremated.
