Polly Gill Frazier, age 94, of Shelbyville passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2022, at NHC of Tullahoma after an extended illness with loved ones by her side.

A native of Bedford County Mrs. Polly was born on August 24, 1927, to the late Winston Woods Gill and Mary Sue McGee Gill.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked as Bedford County Trustee for many years. She was a member of the Shelbyville Women's Club, Farm Bureau, Bedford County Historical Society, and Christian Widows Club. Her hobbies included gardening and writing poetry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, James J.P. Frazier; sisters, Geraldine Saunders, Ruth Wooten and Nancy Glover; and brothers, Ollie Gill, Mac Gill and Bill Gill.

Survivors include daughter: Freda Frazier (Randy) Head of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Phillip (Irene) Head and Hillary (Spencer) Westcott both of Nashville; and great grandchildren, Frazier & McNairy Head, and Winston & Amelia Westcott.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Rasnick officiating. Burial will follow at the Willow Mount Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the funeral home.
