Joe was born on December 18, 1943 in Denton to Samuel Houston and Orphy (Fowler) Williams. He married Nakita Addington on December 2, 1966 in Nocona.
Joe worked as an electrician in some compacity for most of his life. He moved to Muenster to fill a position in maintenance at AMPI, and he and his family found their forever home. He eventually retired from Black Electric out of Myra.
He loved woodwork, doing craft shows, camping and fishing with his family and friends, and just spending time with his family.
Joe is survived by his wife: Nakita Williams of Muenster; daughter: Karen Sue and husband Joe Evans of Gainesville; and sister: Linda Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Sam and Orphy Williams; brothers: Irvin and Clyde Williams; and sisters: Gertrude Claybaugh, Annie Rudd, Barbara Hurst, and Shirly Darnell.
