Helen was born in Etna, Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburg, on June 9, 1926 to her beloved parents; Lawrence Wirth and Maude Phillips.
Helen was of the Catholic Faith as well as a loving mother and dedicated wife. She met her husband Clement at the age of 13. He was ultimately her high school sweetheart and they remained together for many years until his passing in 1997.
Being married to a Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Air Force, Helen was a very organized and structured woman. She prided herself on always having her checkbook balanced down to the penny. Aside from that, she was a very talented seamstress and made countless outfits for her two daughters over the years.
Helen is survived by her doting daughter, Fay Craft of Leesburg Florida; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clement Ross, her parents, a sister; Ruth Thomas, and her daughter; Gail.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00AM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, Florida with visitation held prior to the funeral service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home in Leesburg with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
