Bobby Key Robinson, 82 of Cookeville died Saturday afternoon at his home. He was born May 10, 1940 in Carthage, Tennessee to the late Alex and Emma Hatfield Robinson.

Bobby was an Army veteran serving as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne. He worked 20 years with Arizona pipeline as a heavy equipment operator and later at Algood Walmart for 14 years. He was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and yard work, watching football on TV and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife: Frances Waydene Bigfeather Robinson; sister: Ruth Goney; brother: Alex Robinson, Jr.

Bobby leaves behind his significant other: Bonnie Nelson of Cookeville; daughter: Kimberly (Warren) Mull of Gordonsville; sons: Roger Robinson of Cookeville, Keith (Teresa) Robinson of Ohio, Brian Robinson of Arizona; Bonnie's children: Michael Nelson and Rebecca Nelson; grandchildren: Michael Kuhns, Jamie Kuhns, Brandon Kuhns, Tawnya Robinson, Brandi Chapman, Bobby Robinson, Matthew Kraft, Bobby Kraft and Amber Hamm; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces: Shawna Whitefield and Rita Smith.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Cooper officiating. Interment with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard followed in Wolf River Cemetery in Fentress County
