Angela "Angie" M. Becker, 52, of Peru passed away unexpectedly at home surrounded by her family on June 19, 2022. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at Holy Family Church in Oglesby with Rev. Paul Carlson officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Webster Park. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

Angie was born in Spring Valley on September 15, 1969, to John Krogulski and Kathy Elston. She married Kris Becker on July 16, 1994. She received her bachelor's degree in teaching from ISU. She taught second grade at Holy Family School and recently celebrated her 30th year of teaching. She was dedicated to her students and her work. Angie loved music and was a talented drummer. Nothing compared to the love she had for her family.

Angie is survived by her husband Kris of Peru; two sons Nicholas Becker of La Salle and Douglas Becker of Peru; her mother Kathy Piltaver of Peru; siblings Brenda (Tim) Booker of Peru, Christa (Jeremiah) Lawson of Plainfield, and Wade (Emily) Piltaver of Peru; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father John Krogulski.
