Betty Itil-Perry passed away on February 6, 2022. She was born October 12, 1928, in Aurora, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta and Anthony Hoffman; sisters, Joanne Snyder (Richard) and Shirley Ervin (Clarence); and daughters, Sheila Itil and Vicki Itil Diekmann. She was widowed twice by her husbands, Talat D. Itil and Patrick Perry; and also preceded in death by her loving friend, Al Smith.

Surviving are her children, Mark Itil (Sherri), Dr. Linda Itil Stratton (Russ), and Susan Itil Niuh (Eugene); four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty will be remembered as a kind and giving soul. Much of her life was dedicated to caring for others. She often looked for opportunities to help people in her life. Her generosity came in various forms and was received by many.

Everyone knew Betty as an amazing hostess and cook. But she was also a woman of many hidden talents. She was a soft spoken and effective negotiator, beautiful writer and even talented actress in her youth, just to name a few. A woman of impeccable style and taste, she always presented the world with her very best.

Often referred to as "Most favorite Aunt" by her nieces and nephews, Betty loved her family more than anything and she will be sorely missed.

Honoring Betty's wishes, there will be no funeral. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
