Ann was the daughter of the late Bush-Flora Shoe Company owner Arthur Lester Bush, Sr. Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Welker Woods, Sr.; her mother, Ann Moore Bush; and brothers Charles Eugene Bush and Arthur Lester Bush, Jr.
Ann was married in 1966 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Roanoke and has been a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church for the past 25 years.
Many will remember Ann as she never met a stranger. She dedicated her life to making others feel welcome. She often shared stories that would radiate her faith and strong family values.
Ann was above all a loving angel to all her grandchildren. She was also a grandmother to countless kids in her Mechanicsville neighborhood. She is well known for hosting popsicle and watermelon parties and delivering giant gingerbread cookies during the holidays.
