TERRY LEE GEORGE, age 78 of Ricevile, Tenn. passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Parkridge Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a native of Pennsylvania , former resident of West Virginia and Chattanooga, Tenn., and became a resident of McMinn County, Tenn., in 1998, a son of the late William Wallace and Emogene Flora Brinker George, and preceded in death by his first wife: Sandra Kay George, Two Sisters: Sandra Kay George, Peggy Jean George Bartley and Brother:William Douglas George. He was a 1961 Graduate of Parksburg High School in Parkersburg, West Virginia , a 1965 Graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia where he served as Senior Class President, He furthered his education at George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, Tenn. in 1972. He was a member of Theta XI Fraterity at Glenville State. He was a Librarian and served in many Schools and retired from McMinn County High School. He was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include his Wife, Two Daughters and a son-in-law, a Grandson, a Sister, a Sister-in-law, one Special Nephew, and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
