Steven Edward Donnachie of Clayton on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Age 57. Husband of 31 years to Deirdre Ann Donnachie (nee Shuey). Father of Neena M. Coulter of Nashville, TN; Daniel K. Coulter (Emily) of Clayton, NJ; Greta K. Dixon (Ryan) of Wenonah, NJ; and Sean K. Donnachie of Elizabethville, PA. Grandfather of Adeline Coulter, Ava Coulter, Michael Dixon, and Aurora Dixon. Brother of Rev. Brian Donnachie (Marianne) of Woodstown, NJ; Celeste Gormley (Kenneth) of Williamston, NJ; Rev.Vincent Donnachie (Christine) of Reading, PA; and the late William Roger Donnachie. Son of Evelyn Ruth Donnachie (nee Boyd) and the late Conrad William "Buddy" Donnachie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Born in Camden and raised in Clayton, Steven was a 1983 graduate of Clayton High School and later earned an Associates Degree in Chemistry from Gloucester County College. He continued as a resident of Clayton for many years before moving to Bethlehem, PA for two years followed by Swedesboro, NJ for two years and then returning to Clayton in 2021. Steven retired from ExxonMobile in Paulsboro after 30 years as a Lab Technician in their Research & Development Program.

Steven loved playing the guitar and banjo and was a talented classical guitar player. He enjoyed going to music festivals and listening to old-time Appalachian music. Steven was a good singer, but his family was the only audience he would sing for. He was a knowledgeable movie buff and loved the music of Bob Dylan and movies with Woody Allen. Steven enjoyed reading and was a big fan of Dostoevsky. He liked camping, being outdoors, watching boxing, and canoeing on local rivers, especially in the Batsto area. Steven was an avid photographer and greatly enjoyed detailed discussions and conversations. He very much loved spending time with his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM.
