David was born in Cornelius, NC. He is the son of
Charles and Grace Moore
He was preceded in death by his grandson Cory Moore and his daughter-in-law Terry Moore.
David is survived by his wife Rose Moore

Debbie Denny, son-in-law Tim Denny
Bruce Moore, daughter-in-law Denise Moore

David graduated from Davidson High School. He was drafted into the US Army where he served in Okinawa at the end of WW2. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He met and fell in love with Rose, the love of his life. They were married for over 73 years.
David worked in sales most of his life. He was always quick with a joke or a story. After he retired, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, popping popcorn and working in his yard. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clear Creek Baptist Church 9015 Ferguson Road, Charlotte NC.
There will be a graveside memorial service Monday, June 20 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn East 3700 Forest Lawn Drive Weddington, NC.
