Mr. Allum passed away June 16, 2022, in Douglass. He was born July 18, 1943, in Houston.
Herbert grew up in Houston, Texas. He graduated from San Jacinto High School in Houston. Herbert then went on to welding and mechanic school. He was enlisted in the Army Reserves as a cook and medic. Herbert married Linda in Spring, Texas on April 8, 1971. Herbert loved watching car shows and going to classic car shows. He had a passion for anything with a motor. Herbert enjoyed working on cars. His pride and joy was restoring his 1964 GTO and Linda's 1966 Chevelle. He loved his animals so much and his Sadie never left his side. He would drop anything for a friend or family, especially when it came to repairing a vehicle. He was our master mechanic and jack of all trades.
