Leslie Augusta Ward was born April 27th, 1941, in Haynes Smith Village St. Kitts. Leslie attended Basseterre Boys School and St. Johnson Village School. After High-school he worked at the Malalou Movie Theatre. Later, Leslie worked as an Electrician for the government of St, Kitts at the Sugar Cane Factory.
In 1979, at the age of 39, Leslie moved to Florida. He later went to school at Mid Florida Tech to further his education in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance. After finishing his certification, he began working at Walt Disney World in 1980 as an Electrical engineer and Maintenance provider for next Thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents George Ward and Margaret Caines and his daughter Paulette Ward.
