John E. Wynn, 69, of Batavia, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 in Randolph at the home of his daughter.

He was born April 2, 1951 in Corry, PA.

John was a proud veteran of the 173rd Airborne Brigade of the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Before retirement, he was employed by Batavia Metal for many years.

He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and the Polish Falcons.

John loved his family, including his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed chillin with friends at the VFW, Kelly's, and the Polish Falcons. He was raised in Spartansburg, PA with his many brothers and sisters. John also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle.

John is survived by his daughter; Chasity (Dana) Chapman of Randolph; grandchildren: Kyler Houghwot of Randolph, Harley Wynn of Jamestown, Tyler (Tisha) Chapman of Gainesville, NY, Mat Chapman of Silver Springs, NY, Michelle Wynn of Jamestown; great grandchildren: Reya Wynn of Jamestown, Peyton and Hazel Chapman of Silver Springs, NY, Dex and Axel Martin of Jamestown, Darriella Chapman of Gainesville, NY; and several brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald (Sonny) and Lillian Anderson Rogers, Sr; his sister Vanessa A. Wynn and his brothers: Wilson E. Wynn, Jr., Alton Rogers, and Murph Wynn.

A private visitation will be held in the Lind Funeral Home at the family's convenience.
