Max Moody, 68, of Klondike, Texas passed away Friday, April 22, 2022.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lyn Phillips officiating assisted by Jim Ainsworth and Harvey Hohenberger. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Marc Moody, Morgan Baker, Brad Cameron, Jimmy Sweat, Joe Bob Shaffer, and Greg Perkins

Honorary Pallbearers: Clifton Haddock and Jake Haddock

Max was born on April 25, 1953 in Commerce, Texas to James T. and Wyvonne "Baker" Moody. They have preceded him in death. He retired as a Delta County Commissioner and he was a farrier for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Moody of Klondike, Texas; two sons: Joel Moody and wife, Jennifer, of Caddo Mills, Texas and Matthew Moody and wife, Meredith, of Cumby, Texas; daughter, Amanda Walters and husband, Kevin, of Denison, Texas; eight grandchildren: Charla Nalls and fiancé, Zach Bourgeois; Garrett Moody, Brylea Moody, Addyson Perkins, Rylan Perkins, Braxton Moody, Atleigh Moody and Maisyn Moody; sister, Laura Scott of Lindsey, California; brother, Jeff Moody of Cumby, Texas and sister, Karen Hudspeth of Gainesville, Texas.
