Age 89, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Benton, IL, on September 13, 1932, the son of the late Riley and Ruby (McCarty) Blair. Ken had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. He loved staying active and made many friends throughout the years. He will be missed by all who loved him. Ken graduated from Lakeview high school in 1952 and then joined the Army. He served our country and was honorably discharged in 1954. When not working, Ken could be found playing sports. He loved fishing, bowling, basketball and softball and was a gifted golfer who recorded twenty-six hole-in-one shots. He also enjoyed singing karaoke, playing billiards and taking trips to the casino. More than anything, Ken loved his family and was an involved and caring father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Ken is survived by eight children, Mike (Bethany) Hoover, Linda (John) Hansen, Al Brandt, Sandra (Bill) Warfield, Laura (Keith) Blair, Kevin (Connie) Blair, Kendra (Erik) Blair, Karen Blair; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was also, preceded in passing by his companions, Rose Brandt Blair, Luella Heselschwerdt, Winnie Like and 12 siblings.

In accordance with his wish cremation will take place and a family memorial will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo College, The Rolla and Patricia Anderson Athletic Endowment Fund, c/o the funeral home.
