Robert E. Baker, age 91, of Sabina, passed at home peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Born at home in Sabina on May 15, 1931, he was the son of Elbert L. and Mary Jane (Sanderson) Baker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor J. Webb Baker. The two were united in marriage in 1957.

Bob was a Silvercreek High School graduate, and went on to become Navy Veteran, having served in the Korean War. Bob worked as a truck driver and was a life-long farmer.

Bob is survived by children, Lee (Allison) Baker, of Sabina and Ward (Kaci Wagle) Baker, of Jamestown, along with five grandchildren: Samantha (Andrew) Washburn, Jesse (Amber) Baker, Rebekah Baker, Remmington Baker, and Valene (Will) Smith, along with eight 5 great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memory is his sister, Frieda (Junior) Clark of Beavercreek and sister in-law, Lori Baker; along with a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded by a brother Carl.

Family will receive friends from 5pm – 7pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville.
