Helen was born on July 30, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late John Henry and Morris Boles Perrell. She was retired from RJ Reynolds with 20 years of service, and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Helen was the Communion Stewardess and was a member of the United Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Iris Davis (Bud), Clarice Wall (James), and Carrie Harper (Max); brothers, Henry Perrell, Clyde Perrell, J.D. Perrell, and Wade Perrell.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, George Fred Watson; 2 sons, Dr. Ricky Watson (Barbara), and Tommy Watson (Teresa); daughter, Georgi Smith (J.J.); 4 grandchildren, Christopher Daye, Bradley Watson (Keeley), Rebecca Watson, and Josh Watson; 2 great grandchildren, Zaley Watson and Presley Watson; special cousin, Charles and Sena Childress, and her special caregiver for 15 years, Kim Radford.
There will be a 12:00 pm graveside service held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bob Nations officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 11:00-12:00 pm at St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
