Sonia Burgess, was born on July, 1961 to the late Beatrice and Solomon Burgess in belle glade, Florida. She graduated from glades Central High School in 1971. She then began working as a farm worker for 15 years. That had to come to an end as Sonia's health began to fail. She then started her 30-year journey on dialysis, three days a week. Years later along with her kidney issues she also battled lung disease. Sonia was a loving person in a very supportive person to her family , she was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and devoted woman of God. Sonia leaves to cherish in her memories, four children; Tameka Ware, Wilfred Demezier, Alvis Carlton Demezier, Alfonco Britton and grandchildren; William Walker, Max'Keria Flex, Keion Demezier, Titanna Phernell, Jakylah Lockhart, Johnathan Demezier, Wilfred Demezier, Tianna Grandison, Willow Demezier, Jakyler Washington. Six sisters; Rebecca Lawrence, George Lawrence, Reberta Frazier of Belle Glade FL; Sharon Burgess of Jamaica, Gail Ellis of Sanford FL, Bridgette Wells(Lionel) of Clermont FL; Brother: Williams Ellis of Sanford FL. Sister-In-Law Samella Rivers(Edward deceased), Beatrice Manning. Cousin; Nephew: Edward Rivers(deceased). Nieces: Janice(Kenelia) Collins, Sharon(Harry) Salter, Tarsha Graham, Jarquette Cumberbaton, Yolanda Rivers, Marion Oliver, Tanika Rivers, Angela Livingston, Leroy Rivers(deceased).
