Anthony "Tony" Hughes Sr. At. Passed away on Monday June 13, 2022 peacefully at home.

Tony was born in Kingsport Tennessee on July 15,1955 to Fred L. Hughes Sr. and Marian L. Hughes. He graduated from Lynn View High School. Tony owned Star Shoe Shop. He worked for Slip Knot Belt and Retired from Partners Industrial in May 2022.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda J. Hughes (2005) Father Fred L. Hughes Sr (1999), Mother Marian L. Hughes (2018), Brother Fred L. Hughes Jr. (2103).

Tony is survived by his Daughter Jamie Burke and husband Keith of Gate City, Va.. Son Anthony Hughes Jr. and wife Gergana of Church Hill, Tn. Grand children Derek Burke (Cloey) of Gate City, Va. Bryan Burke of Gate City, Va. And a Great grand baby on the way. Sister Karen Gibbons of Kingsport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no service but family will receive friends at the home.

The family would like to think the nurses at Holston Valley Medical Center Wilcox Hall for the care given during this difficult time.
