A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16th, 2022 at MMS- Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Keely officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Arkansas.
James Alvin Wright, 71, passed away June 12th, 2022 at his home in Nowata, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. He was born July 18th, 1950 to Winfred Carroll and Virginia Mae (Cerveny) Wright in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
James was a 1968 graduate of Siloam Springs High School in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He could often be found reading, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed teaching Mattie and Katie different recipes. He liked solving sudoku puzzles. James loved to sing and enjoyed music in general. You could often find him tinkering with random machinery in his garage. In his golden days, you could find James riding his Harley.
He is survived by one son; James Wright and wife Leigh of Nowata, Oklahoma; daughter, Kimberly McDaniel and husband Daniel, of Claremore, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Katie Wright, Mattie Wright, Jordan McDaniel, and Cassidy Blalock and husband Tylar; and two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Waylon.
This is the son of "Wink" Wright. It is the second son to pass away this year. Sympathy to the family. He is being buried in Old Union near his dad and grandparents.
