She was born Dec. 31, 1950 in Renovo, the daughter of Victor and Thelma Banes Croak.
Candy was a graduate of Bucktail High School and Jamestown University.
Candy was an office worker for Penelec Company for many years.
She was lovingly known by everyone as "Mum Mum." She loved people and socializing. She loved to read and enjoyed playing Scrabble. She loved animals of any kind and she especially loved her dog, Fancy.
Candy is survived by her son, Glenn (Stephanie) Brooks, of Renovo; and her granddaughter, Jade (Jamie) Brooks, of Punxsutawney; and two sisters, Joanne Croak, of Paradise, Texas, and Vickie Fantaskey, of Renovo.
She was pre-deceased by a stillborn son, Timothy Brooks; a brother, Kenneth Croak; and a sister, Darlene Croak.
A Celebration of Life honoring the memory of Candy will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, in the Renovo Sons of Italy at 6 p.m.
Interment will be in the North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, Pa.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Clinton County SPCA, The PA Association for the Blind, or the American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
