Funeral services for Henry F. Doty were held yesterday afternoon in the Palmer-Walters chapel with Rev. William A. Kandall officiating. Burial was in the IOOF cemetery.
Pallbearers were: John M. Pruitt, Maurice Cheda, Earl Colvin, Tony Machado, LeRoy O. Sherwin and George W. Hotchkiss.
Mr. Doty, a native of Cambria, died Saturday.
He made his home at 1390 Murray Avenue. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Doty, of the home address; two sons, Stover G. of Arroyo Grande and Dudley H. of San Luis Obispo. He also leaves one daughter, Mrs. D. L. George, Paso Robles amd eight grandchildren.

When Henry Franklin Doty was born on January 14, 1872, in Franklin, California, his father, Benjamin, was 39 and his mother, Nancy, was 35. Sometime between the births of Henry Franklin in 1872 and Emma Jane in 1874 the family left Franklin and homesteaded on the north side of San Simeon Creek east of San Simeon near Pico Creek and Red Mountain about 8 miles from Cambria. He married Mary Elizabeth Cleavenger on August 7, 1910, in San Luis Obispo, California. They had three children during their marriage. Henry was a Teamster and a Quicksilver Miner. He died on October 23, 1954, in San Luis Obispo, California, at the age of 82.
