Verda Lee Haltom, 96 year old Vinita resident, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022. She was born February 2, 1926, to Homer James and Ada (Kisner) Camp in Waynoka, Oklahoma. Verda Lee Camp married Wendell Haltom on November 3, 1944, and they were together until his passing on February 16, 1996.
Verda was a loving wife, mother, grammy, great grammy and great, great grammy. She was a faithful and loved member of the Church of Christ from early on in her life. She has worshipped with the Vinita Church of Christ since 1991. She and Wendell made their home in Vinita when they moved from Helena, OK after their retirement. Verda enjoyed boat rides and cruises. She also enjoyed her church family and most of all any time spent with her family.
Verda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wendell; siblings, Glenda Curry, Kenneth Camp, Harlow Camp, Pearl Morris, Carrie Barker, Goldie Bay.
