William (Bill) Floyd Wilson, age 83 years, 11 months, 3 weeks, and 4 days; went peacefully home to GLORY Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 8:16am.

He was born in Perry County, Ohio, July 7, 1938; son of James Buchanan Wilson and Flossie Freda (Allwine) Wilson of Crooksville, Ohio.

Surviving is his widow, Judith (Judy) Ann (Wiechert) Wilson; to whom he wed November 1, 1969; his children: Rita K. Wilson (Leo Junior Rider), Julie (Lonnie) White, Jody (Matthew) Stevens, John (Carolyn) Harter; also surviving are his sisters: Naomi Urdak and Nellie Davis; many cousins, nieces, nephews, 18 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents: father James B. Wilson and step-mother Ruth (Mechling) Wilson and mother Flossie Freda (Allwine) Eagle and step-father Joseph Eagle. His in-laws, Rudolph A. Wiechert and Betty Jane Wiechert; his sisters: Betty Morgan, Bonnie Sharkey, Virginia Buckley, Mary Zink, Evelyn (Sharkey) Neff, Frances (Teeny) Pallos, Nema Cinquepalmi, Claris Watson and Billie Jean Wilson; Bill's brothers; Max Wilson, James A. (Jamie) Wilson, Thomas (Dub) Mechling and infant twin brother and sister; his children Karen Wilson, James (Jimmy) Wilson, Jeffery F. Harter, and Jeanette (Harter) Kuhn. Also, preceding Papaw in death are his grandsons James M. Hupp and Jacob (Jack) Stevens and great granddaughter Peyton S. White-Hoffman.

We want to thank "Bill's Garage" Buddies who have been faithful friends over the years;' Tim, Donny (Joyce) Triplett, Jimmy (Jane) Woodruff, Phil (No-Neck) Birch, the late Carl Thorp, and especially Tim (Vickie) Payne, a great neighbor and loyal friend.

William Thompson & Son Funeral Home of White Cottage is honored to care for Mr. Bill Wilson and family.

Services will be held at Lighthouse Memorial Church 2600 Walnut Road State Route 79 Millersport, Ohio 43046. (740)467-1500, Friday June 17, 2022.

Family and friends may call 5pm – 7pm with the services to begin directly after calling. Pastors Jim Vanover and Robert Lovett will officiate.

Somerset American Legion will bring Military Honors for Bill's service in the United States Army.

ALL are welcome to stay for fellowship in the Fellowship Hall following the conclusion of the services.
