Services for Wickenburg resident Carl W. Pike were conducted Tuesday in Boulder, Colo., following his death in that community on June 13.
Mr. Pike, 72, died of a heart attack at McKee Medical Center while visiting Boulder.
He was born July 27, 1915 in Shelby County, Illinois, to Edgar A. and Edith Pearl Price Pike.
He had resided in Wickenburg since August 1986, and was a member of the Wickenburg and Boulder County Horseman's Association.
He was an avid horseman, and raiser of quarter horses. He was a member of the national Spur, Bit and Saddle Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Shirley, a daughter, Diane Greenbough of Phoenix; one brother, Don Pike, of Boulder; a sister, Ethel M. Cornelison of Boulder; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
