Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Rev. Tommy Free officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park.
Freda was born on December 8, 1934 in Wichita Falls to the late Tirl and Margie (Geaslin) Dobbs. She married John Osborne on July 3, 2003 in Carrollton, Texas.
Freda was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. She is remembered by all those who loved her as an always-smiling and positive person. She was willing to go on any adventure in order to bring joy to those around her, especially for her grandchildren. She never knew a stranger, showing neighborly love and kindness to all she met. She was a dedicated member of her church and found joy in reading, and family pets. Freda loved her family, and she loved John.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Freda is survived by her husband John; children Curtis Luna and wife Gwen of Telephone, Diane Waltrip and husband Greg of Naples, Florida, Susan Ferguson and husband Keith of Pottsboro, and Karen Stolz and husband Mike of Edmond, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brothers Tommy Dobbs and wife Marilyn, and Pete Dobbs and wife Margie.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made in Freda's name to Beyond Faith Hospice.
