A native of Great Falls, Mrs. Beatty was born Nov. 15, 1915, to Ernest and Julia Tobin Thompson. She attended Butte schools and graduated from Butte Central in 1934.
On Oct. 3, 1935, she was married to Patrick M. Beatty. He died in 1970.
She was a member of the Anaconda Catholic Community and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Russell Halpine of North Glenn, Colo., and Mary Lou and John Fisher of Helena; one son and daughter-in-law, John R. and Marguerite Beatty of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; a brother, Robert T. Thompson of New Brighton, Minn.; and six grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John S. Thompson and Edward Thompson.
