Walter Henry Brown was born July 18, 1947, in Neshoba County, MS. He was the oldest of four children born to the late Elvin and Ether Lene Brown.
Walter graduated from George Washington Carver High School and attended Mississippi Valley State University. While attending Valley, he was drafted into the United States Army to serve his country in the Vietnam War. He was a Purple Heart recipient.
At an early age, Walter joined New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. On October 29, 1988, he became a deacon. He later joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where he continued his work as a deacon until he transitioned into God's Holy Kingdom.
Walter was united in holy matrimony to Paulette Johnson on August 28, 1971. To this union, three children were born. One preceded him in death, Walter Elliott Brown.
Walter worked at Superior Coach in Kosciusko, MS; for many years. He then became a truck driver for Olen Barrage Trucking Company, Howard Industries, and Peco Foods. He retired after 41 years.

One grandson, Landon Elliott Brown. One goddaughter, JaShundra Latrice Smith of Chicago, IL. One godson, Braveon D. Harvey of Carthage, MS. Two aunts, Mrs. Rena M. Stribling of Philadelphia, MS; and Mrs. Hazel McGee of Chicago, IL. Two special friends, Melissa and Landon C. Gayle of Atlanta, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
