Glenda Sue Dawson, age 83, of Paragould, passed from the cares of this life on June 12, 2022, at Green Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. Glenda was born on January 7, 1939, to the late Clyde Wood and Lela (Walden) Wood.
Glenda was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Paragould. She was a proud band parent, and was a member of the Paragould Band Boosters. She loved music, and played several instruments in her high school days as a Paragould Bulldog. Above all, she loved her family dearly.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lela Wood.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 63 years, Dub Dawson; her children, David Dawson (Kathy), Teresa Dawson-Clark (Mark), Penny Kennett (Tommy John); grandchildren, Rachel Brown (Cody), Tommy Kennett (Nicole), Chris Kennett, Joshua Clark (Katie), Adam Clark (Kami), Mary Katherine Nichols (T.J.), and Zachary Dawson (fiancée, Jenna Auel); and eleven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2022, at Linwood Cemetery with burial to follow.
