Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bobby Carver and loving daughter, Darlene Luyckx (Gary), sisters, Mary Jo Worley (Eugene), Wilma Barnes (Bobby) and Judy Fortner (Walter). She is also survived by brothers: Clarence Roberts, David Roberts (Juanita), Ricky Roberts and several nieces and nephews.
Shelby Jean was a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved her family with a passion. One of her greatest joys was family gatherings. She was a member of Little Ivy Baptist Church in Mars Hill. She enjoyed going back to her childhood home and staying in their cabin on the old home place. She was employed by AB Emblem for twenty years.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Little Ivy Baptist Church. Reverends Edward Hoyle and Scott Dotson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
