Lonnie B. Tucker was born August 1946 in Houston, TX to the parentage of B. Seldon and Novell Tucker.

Lonnie graduated from Kashmere High School in Houston, TX. where he met and married Nora. J. Washington. To this union, two children were born. After graduating high school, he worked at his uncles Auto shop in the paint and body business, he also worked as a co-owner at a gas station with his cousin. He later became employed at Caterpillar, where he worked for years. After being employed at Caterpillar, he was then offered a job in maintenance, working for the City of Houston. Lonnie eventually left the City of Houston and went into business with his brother Mozell Tucker until they decided to end the business.

In his spare time, he enjoyed listening music and spending time with family. Lonnie Tucker, 75, died unexpectedly on May 28, 2022, doing what he loved, sitting at home in his garage listening to music.

He is proceeded in death by his father, B. Seldon Tucker, Mother Novell Tucker, brother Lloyd Tucker, sister Carolyn J. Willis and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

The loving memories of his life will be forever cherished by his loving daughter Neisa M. Tucker; sons: Willie L. Tucker, Chris Johnson and Undrea L. Tucker; grandsons: 3 ; granddaughters: 2 ; great grandsons: 2. He also leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters Marilyn Travis, Bennie Hines , and Brenda Harvey ; brother Mozell Tucker and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
