Robert attended Fairmount High School and worked at RCA in Marion. He liked to play Bingo, go fishing, lay out in the sun, watch the ducks, and go swimming. Robert was big-hearted, and he loved his family.
Survivors include his brother, Clarence Watson; sister, Lula May Watson; step-children, Lisa Richey, Beth Ann Riordan, Pam Martin, Shane Robinson, and James Tracy; 18 grandkids, 26 great-grandkids, and 9 great-great-grandkids.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul Watson; daughter, Pamela Sherron; brother, Tommy Watson; and special friend, Helen Culbertson.
Robert's wishes were to be directly cremated with no service or visitation. He would rather everyone remember him the way he was.
