BONITA SPRINGS, FLA. - Stephanie (Delfausse) Morse, age 80, passed away on February 20th 2022 in Bonita Springs, Florida.

She was born on February 27th 1941 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of Ellen and Roland Delfausse.

Having grown up in Livingston, New Jersey, she graduated from Livingston High School in 1959 and went on to University of Rhode Island where she graduated in 1963.

On August 22 of that year, she married Robert L. Morse of Burlington, Vermont. Together they had two children; one son and one daughter. After Graduation, she worked as an Instructor at Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. and later taught at Pierce Secretarial School in Boston, Massachusetts.

In 1977, she and her husband purchased Shepard and Hamelle, a men's retail clothing store on Church Street in Burlington, Vt. They worked together as a team for fifteen years until they retired.

After retirement they spent time traveling and lived in Vermont during the summers and Florida in the winters. Stephanie and Robert were married for over 58 years.

She belonged to the Burlington Country Club in Vermont and Bonita Bay Club in Florida where she enjoyed playing golf. Her other interests included hiking, skiing, swimming, and loved spending summers at the family home on Appletree Point in Burlington, Vt.

In her retirement she volunteered as a counselor at Care Connection in Burlington, Vt. and volunteered at the Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida Inc. in Naples, Florida.

She was a member of the North Avenue Alliance Church in Vermont where she served on several committees and outreach programs. She was also a member of the Covenant Church of Naples in Florida. Jesus was first in her life, and she happily displayed that love in her daily living.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery on 455 North Avenue in Burlington, Vt.
