John R. Holman, 55, of Mansfield died 3:40 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 28, 1977) in his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Stensel's Funeral Home, Mansfield, with visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield. Mr. Holman was born in Bethel Community, son of Warren and Sylvia Holman. He was a warehouse supervisor for Flo-Con in Champaign. He was a member of the Bethel Church, the Mansfield American Legion, and the Woodlawn Country Club of Farmer City. Не married Irene Lewis in 1957. Surviving are his wife; son David of Thayer, Mo.; sister, Ruth Mowry of St. Joseph; brothers, Dean of Farmer City; Bob of Mahomet.
