Betty "Jane" Henderson, 69, passed away on June 8, 2022, at 6:15 am at her residence.

She was born on June 6, 1953, in Lima, the daughter of McKinley and Nervia (Music) Risner. Both parents preceded her in death.

She was married to George A. Henderson Sr., who survives in Lima.

Jane was a retired legal secretary, from the law offices of Athena Myers. She and George had a great love story and she truly loved him, their family, and her dogs. She was all in for helping Veterans through the DVA and St. Jude as well. Jane was a selfless lady with a huge heart.

Survivors in addition to George, are a daughter: Jennifer (Jeff) Moyer; sons: James K. Long, David A. Long, and George A. Henderson Jr.; a sister; Phyllis Ann Needham, and a brother; Robert Lee (Patricia) Risner.

Jane had a brother precede her in death, Kenneth R. Risner, and her mother-in-law; Leota Henderson and father-in-law; Clyde Henderson.

Friends may call at HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME, 506 N. Cable Rd, Lima 45805 from 12 noon to 2 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. A service will begin at 2pm. Interment will follow funeral services at Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Disabled Veterans of America.
