Kay Rhodes of Elkin passed away on Thursday June 8, 2022.

Kay was born on February 23, 1941 in Surry County to the late Forest Long and Alva Gentry.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Quinn Huggins of Grand Ridge, IL; three brothers, Teddy (Trish) Long of State Road, Steve (Barbara) Long of State Road, and Blake (Patricia) Long of Traphill; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service for Kay will be held on Sunday June 12, 2022 at 3:30pm at Crestwood Memorial Gardens in State Road.
