Elizabeth passed away peacefully on Saturday March 5, 2022 at the Fair Fax Place Nursing facility. Elizabeth "Betty" Huff (nee Martin) lived at Fairfax Place Nursing Home in Cleveland, OH and enjoyed visits with her son Lawrence "LR" Smith. Betty, born in Painesville, was a longtime Cleveland resident. She was educated in NE Ohio and became a Registered Nurse. She worked in nursing, from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. She worked many years as an RN at the Cleveland VA Nursing Home until she retired at age 70. Betty was predeceased by her brothers & sisters; late husband, Luther R. Nickens; former husband, James L. Smith; & late husband, Carlos R. Huff. She is survived by her son Lawrence "LR" Smith; nieces, nephews + their children. Betty was a kind person dedicated to nursing and devoted to her son. She will be missed. Betty was laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery
