Ruby Estelle Banks, 86 of Forest Park, went home to see the Lord June 16, 2004. She was a beloved mother and homemaker. Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie C. Banks. She is survived by her son, Jerry C. and Pam Banks of Temple, GA; their two daughters, Elizabeth and Jessie; her daughter, Beverly and Mike Knowles of Fayetteville; their children and grandchild, Chris, Melissa and Emily Knowles of Sharpsburg, Jason and Natalie Knowles of Fayetteville, Alyce and Shane Head of Fayetteville, Derek Knowles and Keith Knowles of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Helms will officiate. Interment, Forest Hills Memorial Park in Forest Park. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Carl J. Mowell & Son, Fayetteville.
